Institution of the Tunisian Radio

The Institution of the Tunisian Radio (établissement de la radio tunisienne) is a Tunisian public institution created by the former president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali on August 31, 2007 and responsible for the management of the national radio.
The Institution of the Tunisian Radio was created on 7 November 2006 by splitting the Establishment of the Tunisian radio and television broadcasting in two; at this occasion the Tunisian television institution was also created. The decision became effective on 31 August 2007.
