Al Janoubia TV
Founded by Farhat Jouini and Baaboura Rabii Al Janoubiya TV starts broadcasting in March 2012.
In August 2013, the businessman and founder of the Tunisian Movement for freedom and dignity, Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi, bought Al Janoubiya TV. On 6 November 2013, the headquarters of the channel are closed and its equipment seized as a result of a financial dispute between Jouini, who still owns the premises and Ayachi Ajroudi.
Following the decision of the Independent High Authority for Audio-visual Communication to suspend the broadcasting of TV channels that did not obtain a license and impose a fine of 50,000 dinars, Al Janoubiya TV stopped its broadcasting from Tunisia and resumed from its premises in Paris from 1 October 2014. On 3 February 2015, the TV channel suspended spontaneously its transmission waiting to obtain a licence. A license is finally granted on April 20, 2015.
