Noureddine Ben Ticha

Noureddine Ben Ticha, born in 1973 in Jemmal, is founder, owner and editor of the online newspaper Al Jarida. At the same time he is a senior advisor to the President, in charge of relations with the Parliament and political parties. He is an active member of Nidaa Tounes. He studied at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Tunis and began early to revolt against the dictatorial regime for which he was imprisoned. He went into exile at the invitation of Amnesty International and moved to Paris where he resumed his studies and continued his activism. When he returned to Tunisia, he created a company of Livestock and Meat Production with his family in Jemmal. He was a columnist at Mosaique FM. In 2011 he founded the newspaper Al Jarida. In 2014, he announced to leave the management to ensure the independence of the newspaper and free himself for his political activities. Despite the appointment of a new manager and a new editor-in-chief he is still involved in the newspaper as director of publication.
