Chékib Nouira is former Chairman of the Board (2000-2005) and former CEO (2005-2007) of the Arab International Bank of Tunisia. He is currently chairman of the Strategic Orientation Committee of the Arab Institute of Business Managers (IACE).

Chékib Nouira is also head of the CFE Group, active in the prêt-a-porté industry for women’s fashion. The group holds 16 companies in the textile industry, all export-oriented.

Chékib Nouira holds 15% of the radio Shems FM.
