Akhbar al Joumhouria

Akhbar Al Joumhouria is a weekly Arabic founded in 1990 by Moncef Ben M'rad. In 2006 the newspaper was seized by the Tunisian authorities for publishing an article about a corruption case, in 2012, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Tarak Dhiab, lost a defamation case against the newspaper. Recently, the newspaper announced its closure several times, but it is still running.
